The most important is the reliability at a good price. You do not want your site to go offline. You want your site to be fast too. I also want to be able to host unlimited domains / subdomains and have an unlimited bandwidth. I also want tons of available databases. All for less than $ 10. More than this is a rip off.
IX are the best of it.
BTW,
If you want to have videos on your site, how smart do is upload to YouTube (where it also receives the traffic on your right) and then simply insert into your site to not use any group, but are reliable YouTube.
Linux is the most used, you will come across tons of scripts that must run Linux.

Even more important than storage and bandwidth constraints. I work for a hosting company and disk storage is cheap, attention to the load on data transfer. Often you are affected by the charges of overdose. Saying it was an audio podcast 60 min. This is probably only about 60 MB.
